Grassley Debuts “Get Out the Vote LIVE” Series for June 7 Primary
WEST DES MOINES — Tomorrow, U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley will debut his “Get Out the Vote LIVE” series to encourage Iowans to vote in the June 7 primary election. At 9:15 a.m. CT, Congresswoman Ashley Hinson of Iowa’s 1st Congressional District will join Grassley live on his campaign’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/grassleyworks/.
Each week leading up to the June 7 primary election, Grassley will go LIVE on Facebook with a member of the Iowa Congressional Delegation and other special guests to discuss the importance of voting in the primary election.
“President Biden’s policies are crushing families with soaring inflation, rising energy costs and a crisis at our southern border, and Iowans are paying the price,” Grassley said. “The only way to ensure that we can stop Democrats’ out-of-control agenda is to get out and vote for Republicans up and down the ballot in the elections on June 7 and November 8.”
The schedule is as follows:
- On May 2, Hinson will join Grassley at 9:15 a.m. CT.
- On May 10, Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks of Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District will join Grassley at 4:45 p.m. CT.
- On May 16, Congressman Randy Feenstra of Iowa’s 4th Congressional District will join Grassley at 5:30 p.m. CT.
More guests will be announced in the coming weeks.
Absentee ballot requests are available now and must be returned to your local county auditor by May 23. In-person voting begins May 18. To get more detailed voting information, go to https://voterready.iowa.gov/.
