Grassley Joins Black Hawk County GOP for Lincoln-Reagan-Trump Dinner
WATERLOO — Over the weekend, Senator Chuck Grassley joined the Republicans of Black Hawk County for their Lincoln-Reagan-Trump Dinner.
Grassley spoke with voters about the failed policies of the Biden administration and how his opponent, Democrat U.S. Senate candidate Mike Franken, would be a rubber stamp for the Biden agenda.
In his remarks, Grassley said, “Fuel prices are too high. Almost everything you buy is sent to you by truck, so Iowans are feeling the high cost of goods caused by President Biden’s failed energy policies.”
Grassley also discussed the importance of a secure border.
“At my 99 county meetings, Iowans share their frustration about the open border,” Grassley said. “We have laws against coming to this country without our permission. The President isn’t enforcing our laws, so you have criminals coming in and fentanyl flooding our streets. All because the President isn’t enforcing our laws.”
Grassley is working as hard as ever to fight inflation and get America back on the right track. He humbly asks for Iowans’ votes on November 8.
