No End in Sight for Bidenflation
WEST DES MOINES — Grassley Works Communications Director Michaela Sundermann released the following statement regarding today’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) numbers.
“There doesn’t appear to be an end in sight to historic inflation and the disastrous economic fallout caused by President Biden’s reckless tax-and-spending spree and short-sighted energy policies. 40-year-high inflation forces Iowans to pay more for rent, groceries, utilities, and gas. Mike Franken refuses to stand up to President Biden’s failed administration. He even has the nerve to look Iowans in the eye and say President Biden is doing a ‘fabulous job.’ Mike Franken says senators have ‘no role’ in fighting inflation. That’s not leadership. That’s throwing in the towel. Mike Franken would be an unapologetic rubber stamp for Joe Biden. With gas prices and inflation set to rise further, Iowa needs a senator who is willing to advocate for common sense energy and spending policies. Chuck Grassley won’t abandon Iowans struggling to make ends meet in the Biden economy. Nobody works harder for Iowans than Chuck Grassley.
