Grassley Campaign Announces 3X More Cash On Hand than Franken
WEST DES MOINES — Today, the Grassley Works Campaign announced an impressive war chest to finish this campaign with a resounding victory and has $3.9 million cash on hand compared to Mike Franken’s $1.3 million. The Grassley Works campaign has received contributions from all of Iowa’s 99 counties.
“Franken was written off by Chuck Schumer and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, and now we are seeing his campaign spend itself into the ground without gaining traction. These numbers point to the handwriting on the wall for Mike Franken’s doomed campaign. Mike Franken’s campaign is a sinking ship, just look at the comparison between Theresa Greenfield’s fundraising numbers at this point in the 2020 cycle and Mike Franken’s now. The Greenfield team had raised over $40 million by this point. This confirms what we already knew: Franken and his liberal policies are too extreme for Iowa, and Democratic strength is waning in Iowa as we head into November,” Grassley Works Communications Director Michaela Sundermann said.
