The ad will begin airing across Iowa on television today.
In the ad, Senator Grassley says, “I’m Chuck Grassley, and I approve this message. Iowa is changing. Who would’ve thought that we’d become a major energy producer, or attract high-tech jobs from California? Or for the first time in a long time, we’ve actually had significant growth in population. We’ve done it together, but we’re not done yet.”
As the ad closes, the text “To Be Continued” appears across well-known images of Senator Grassley that represent his work ethic and Iowa roots, including mowing his lawn on his family farm, driving across Iowa during his 99 county meetings, on one of his daily three mile runs and on top of the tallest wind turbine in North America.
“In an election year that seems to get more negative by the day, Chuck Grassley’s hard work, optimism and dedication to Iowans shines through as an example of what public service should be,” said Grassley campaign manager Bob Haus. “From his work to transform Iowa into a clean energy leader to his 99 county meetings every year, Iowans know Chuck Grassley works.””Roberta’s story is just one of many examples how Chuck Grassley works for Iowans. He sets the gold standard when it comes to constituent service,” said Grassley Committee campaign manager Bob Haus. “When it comes to veterans, Senator Grassley leaves no stone unturned to hold up America’s end of the bargain for those who fought to protect and defend our sacred freedoms. Iowans like Roberta and her father motivate Senator Grassley every day. He is grateful for the honor to work for Iowa veterans and their families in the United States Senate.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
