Chuck Grassley Announces Veterans Coalition with Support from Iowa’s 99 Counties

WEST DES MOINES — Today, Senator Chuck Grassley announced his Veterans Coalition chairs in all of Iowa’s 99 counties.

“Our veterans dedicated their lives to serving our country. I work to make sure the federal government keeps its promises to them, which includes my support for the PACT Act this year, every step of the way. I’m proud to represent veterans and honored to have their support. Our veterans always have our backs. We must have theirs,” Grassley said.

“I’ve known Chuck Grassley for a long time. He’s a dedicated public servant, who’s never let Washington go to his head. He’s been laser-focused on Iowa for as long as I can remember. As dedicated as he’s been to our great state, he’s also shown great dedication to our veterans,” Veterans for Grassley Chairman and retired U.S. Army Reserve Maj. Gen. Evan “Curly” Hultman said. “I’m grateful for his service. I’m grateful to rally behind him for his re-election, and I’m grateful that we will have another six years of Senator Grassley’s leadership.”

Franken has been widely criticized for his remarks stating he spoke for allveterans when he claimed he only served in the military for those with similar political beliefs.

The Veterans For Grassley coalition joins a growing list of support for Grassley’s re-election. He announced his 99 County Leadership coalition in June and the leadership of the Farmers for Grassley coalition last week. The Iowa Farm Bureau and Iowa Corn Growers Association both announced endorsements. The National Federation of Independent Business, the Iowa Bankers Association, Citizens For Responsible Energy Solutions, National Rifle Association, Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund PAC, Members of the Iowa House of Representatives and Iowa Senate, agriculture leaders across the state, former President Donald Trump and Trump administration officials and many high profile public servants have endorsed Grassley’s re-election.
