Chuck Grassley Wins Republican Nomination

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Senator Chuck Grassley released the following video and audio statements on the strong Republican support across the state for his re-election campaign.

Video Transcript:

“Thank you to all of you who supported my renomination, so that we could go to victory on November the 8th to turn around the bad policies of this administration. I’ve heard at my county meetings about inflation, about high gas prices, about the border not being secured. A Republican majority can take care of these bad policies of the Biden administration. So let’s work together to make sure we can win in November, take control of the United States Senate and House of Representatives, and bring some sanity back to this Washington, D.C. that the Biden administration has screwed up with their bad policies.”

“Quite a victory. I love serving the people of Iowa. Now that the primary’s over, I want everybody to unite so we can have a big victory in November. A big victory in Iowa contributes to Republicans taking over control of the United States Senate and House of Representatives. We need to unite up and down the ticket for Governor Reynolds … state legislators to be Republican.

“What’s really going to help us to unite is the dismal record of President Biden. Just think of what I hear at my 99 county meetings — the Q&As with my constituents — they’re upset about inflation, gasoline prices, the border crisis, all those things. The President’s not enforcing the border. He takes an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States, and yet, he will let the border be very insecure, so anybody can just walk into America at any time. It even compromises our sovereignty.

“So, we work hard between now and November the 8th, and by doing that, we will save America from the bad policies of the socialistic endeavors of the progressive left, which President Biden has succumbed to.”
