DES MOINES— The Grassley Committee today unveiled a new ad featuring the voice of Barbara Grassley and focusing on the Senator’s unparalleled work ethic on behalf of Iowans.

“His day starts at four. Four-ten he’s running three miles,” says Mrs. Grassley, alluding to Senator Grassley’s habit of running three miles a day, four days a week.

Whether you are Republican or Democrat, Iowans know that no one works harder than Chuck Grassley,” said Grassley campaign manager Robert Haus.

The new commercial began airing early Wednesday morning on broadcast and cable markets across the state, as well as on digital platforms and is a continuation of an advertising campaign across Iowa that will continue through Election Day.

The new ad, titled “Run”, includes video from Senator Grassley’s visit to KCCI-TV in Des Moines on Friday, September 23. In response to a question from KCCI-TV host Cynthia Fodor about how he stays fit, Senator Grassley dropped to the studio floor and quietly counted out 22 push-ups, all while keeping a
straight back and good posture.

Mrs. Grassley concludes the ad by stating something that most Iowans already know and enthusiastically agree with, “Dawn to dusk, Chuck works.”

Transcript:

His day starts at four.

Four-ten, he’s running three miles rain or shine.

Six o’clock, Chuck’s at the office.

When in Iowa, he’s still up early. Working the farm, meeting Iowans in all ninety-nine counties every year.

No surprise then, my husband has been named the hardest working senator.

Dawn to dusk.

Chuck works.

I’m Chuck Grassley, and I approve this message.
