Grassley: The Credibility of the FBI is at Stake
DES MOINES – Senator Chuck Grassley joined the annual Republican Party of Iowa Lincoln Dinner in Des Moines last night. Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel was the keynote speaker. Grassley discussed his oversight work uncovering political bias in the FBI and the latest news regarding the unprecedented FBI raid of a former U.S. President’s residence at Mar-a-Lago.
“There’s something wrong with the culture at the FBI that has to be changed and it’s bigger than just Hunter Biden,” Grassley said. “What I’m hearing from my constituents in Iowa at my 99 county meetings— and I’ve been in 78 of them so far this year— I hear, ‘how come we don’t have equal application of the law around this country?’ We can’t have a two-tiered system of justice in America.”
“We are at a point where the culture and the credibility of the FBI is at stake. We are at a point where you ought to have the utmost confidence in the number one law enforcement agency in America,” Grassley continued.
Grassley was joined by Governor Kim Reynolds, Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg, Senator Joni Ernst, Representatives Ashley Hinson, Randy Feenstra, and Mariannette Miller-Meeks, Republican nominee for Iowa’s Third Congressional District Zach Nunn, the Republican Party of Iowa Chairman Jeff Kaufmann and Co-Chair Linda Upmeyer, many other elected officials and hundreds of grassroots Republicans from around state.
