Iowa Voters Make History, Elect Grassley to Historic 8th Term
DES MOINES — Last night, Iowa voters cemented Senator Chuck Grassley’s reputation as the most popular elected leader in Iowa history. Iowa voters again placed their trust in Grassley for an unprecedented 8th term in the U.S. Senate.
With 99 percent reporting, Grassley won re-election by 12 points with 678,738 votes, an even larger margin of victory from Iowa voters than the Presidential and Senate winners in 2020. In his seven re-election campaigns to the U.S. Senate, Grassley has won by double-digit margins against every single opponent. With this remarkable victory, Iowa voters sent a resounding message of confidence in Grassley. With a polarized electorate and the media’s dogged narrative of waning support for Grassley throughout this campaign, this historic victory confirms the Senator we need is the Senator we’ve got.
Grassley thanks voters for their support and reminds all Iowans that he will work hard for every Iowan for the next six years.
